It was such an interesting book. It really made you think about how women and the mentally ill or simply just those who were a bit different were being treated, not all that long ago.
I wish the characters would’ve been more developed, I wanted to be more invested in them and in their lives and feelings and thoughts. It felt more like a quick glimpse into the hospital at the time rather than a story about the characters.
