Had high hopes for this recommended read, but was left disappointed and underwhelmed. The story starts right in the middle of a captivating scenario but with each chapter, the characters grow whiny and immature, acting more like teenagers with developing frontal lobes than adults capable of honest communication. Little of their dialogue is spent developing a strong backstory or relatable union, but yet they constantly reference their love and affection for one another, despite the story taking place during the month of August for 4 years - so, a cumulative four months is spent giving the reader insight into their dynamic. Guess they need to read between the lines in order to relate to the passion and affection for one another?  Once the “spicy” content arrives - it never leaves. Every other word is a reference to an orifice ready for the taking, with unbelievable & over the top exchanges between the main characters that have you feeling like some desperate teenager is drafting their most scandalous fantasies, having never lost their v-card at the time of writing.  It was an absolute chore to finish listening to this book and I would not recommend it to anyone.
