Preppers? Sisters? Mysteries? I’m in!!
While I found the first half of the book a bit dense and slow, I found the last third of the book very compelling and interesting! The ending felt satisfying. The little things that bothered me I chalk up to just my own pet peeves (not getting to know the side characters very well who were supposed to be the antagonists, Birdie constantly “twittering,” “squawking,” and “flying,” - it was just too much for me).
