Founding Mothers: The Women Who Raised Our Nation by Cokie Roberts

1.0

This. Was. A. Chore. I had to read this for our book club, but I should have skipped it. This would have been interesting if it were authored by a better writer. I got lost and stopped paying attention to who's who by the first 20% of the book. A better format for this type of nonfiction would have been subject by subject rather than chronological.
I listened along to the audiobook alongside reading it, and they're different texts! The audiobook skipped around and lost about two hours of text. Not to mention, it was read by Cokie herself, and I'm sorry, but her voice was a bit too brassy.
