4.0

Mike Carey can write amusing single issues, but this storyline is his baby and it's not much. Sure it's had some lasting effects on current continuity, but it's a throwaway alternate universe. Compare the two(well 3) Age of X: Universe stories to the main tale. They have a bit of humor, a moral, and shocking moments. In the main story, I was really shocked but thought "interesting choice". Wait I was shocked at how Carey decided to make Pixie really pervy. I like the lack of Miss Fan Service, and more Mr. Fan Service.

Like I said before the best part is the Age of X Universe issues included. I love alternate universes and mutants, but this one was hindered by its narrow focus.
