Hunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton

5.0

"I don't care if i need to set this world on fire until there's no one left but you and me. The world will burn around us, and i'll gladly live in chaos with you as long as the only person that is a danger to you is me."

Let me tell you, this book is heavy af. I cried multiple times because the realisation hits hard. I can't imagine going though that kind of pain. The human trafficking is happening daily to thousands of woman and men and it is just terrible.

This book is defo heavier than the first book. As H.D Carlron said in the dedication, your mental health matters. I get why people are hesitant about reading this duology. The books are written amazingly and you fly through the book.
