It’s been a while since I’ve read a really good ghost story and this didn’t disappoint. I loved the atmosphere and how the mystery unfolded. The characters were very well fleshed out, everyone had their flaws but that made them feel real. Well, everyone but Cedar. He was the too perfect love interest that’s in nearly every YA book, but his sincerity and sweetness was so endearing so he’s forgiven for that. The only thing I disliked was that some of this love triangle drama felt so unnecessary and out of place with the rest of what was happening. Overall, I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good spooky read. 4.5/5
