Insta-love, adventure, heartache, and fun are just a few words to describe this book, but at the top of that list is FABULOUS. This is the third book of the Beck Sisters series, and we get a major update on Anna and Keane (The Float Plan) in this one. Plus, the ending hints at a possible follow-up. 🎉
Carla Black is a fun-loving, free-spirited adventurer who falls too quickly, according to Carla, for Eamon (Keane's brother). Their love connection is like being wrapped in a warm hug; it just does a body good.
I loved the well developed characters, the banter, the adventures, and the healing. I laughed with Carla and Eamon and cried as Carla worked through tough stuff.
One thing to note is the topic of early onset dementia (Carla's dad) as this may be a trigger for some. I lost my mom to Alzheimer's, so I definitely felt all the feels, but the author dealt with the topic respectfully.
Thank you to NetGalley (Digital copy), Goodreads (hard copy), and St. Martin's Press for the ARC copies. I definitely recommend this book even if you haven't read the previous two in the series as it can be read as a stand-alone. However, do yourself a favor and just read them all. ❤️📖
