Not a bad start to a very unique story about a girl who thinks she is crazy, but is not!

Sarcastic characters are my favourite. Emerson was no exception. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that she went on and on about Michael and his good looks. She did the same thing with Kaleb. But the emotions and the grief that she was feeling was stunning. Her reactions to her meds were the same. They felt so real and they really helped keep the reader into this book. All of her emotions were strong and it was understandable. It was undeniably sad what she had to go through but it was nice to know that she got through it.

I have to say that the love triangle was sorta lame. It was all about Michael and then suddenly, Kaleb pops in with a very little choice of success. I personally thought that the love triangle was unnecessary and completely predictable. Needless to say, I HATE LOVE TRIANGLES!

The plot wasn't bad. It was a little bit predictable but had enough surprises that it didn't make you feel like you wasted your time. It was slow at times but towards the end, it was really fast paced. I wish that it had been like that the entire novel, but alas, it was not to be.
