It wasn't the first book of a series. It was a complete package.

I didn't know I could love a book with nearly zero romance so much as to give it 4 stars.

Kelsier shouldn't have died. Personally I wouldn't have minded if Vin herself had died but Kell... I just couldn't.

Vin was stupid to not think that the Lord Ruler was a Feruchemist when she saw the old man. It was quite obvious.

I was dreading that Elend was going to die.

  Tbh Elend was the first fictional guy I loved who wasn't even my type.

I also dreaded that Sazed will die but thankfully neither of them did.

The book left me intrigued.
