(🇫🇷 ⤵️) I rarely dive into a book without reading the blurb but I loved the title and the cover so I dove in blind ... and I wanted to try a new author ...
👉🏻 but this book was not for me 🤷‍♀️

📲 It all started with a wrong number and complete strangers texting each other: a promising quick-start!

➕I loved the first part of the book with the smart and sassy banter and I was so nervous for the characters to meet in person!

➖However their physical meeting was not as “emotional” or touching as I wanted it to be, after all the anticipation from the first pages. So I didn’t get attached to characters. Also there was some unnecessary drama towards the end that made me like the second part of the book less.

👉🏻This is the type of book that I would recommend in between “heavy” reads, and IF you enjoy ROM-COMs
(it just happens that I am not a big fan of those)

🇫🇷 Vous arrive-t-il de lire un livre sans connaître l’auteur ni même lire la 4ème de couverture❓ Avec ce livre-ci, c’est le titre et la couverture qui m’ont plu et je le voyais passer souvent sur bookstagram ... j’ai tenté ma chance mais je n’ai malheureusement pas beaucoup aimé.
La première partie démarrait très bien: un faux numéro de téléphone, des textos échangés entre des inconnus ... le vrai suspense! et j’ai tellement accroché au début!
J’attendais impatiemment qu’ils se rencontrent ... Mais cette rencontre tellement attendue a été plutôt fade et passagère, du coup j’ai perdu intérêt, surtout avec des événements dramatiques non-nécessaires à mon avis
⚠️Si je savais que c’était une comédie romantique (je ne suis pas fan de ce genre de lecture) je ne me serai pas aventurée 😏
