My favorite genre novel of 2017 was The City of Brass, so I’m *extremely* pleased to report that its sequel, The Kingdom of Copper, is just as good as—if not better than—the first book.
This is a fabulous fantasy novel: S.A. Chakraborty continues to evolve the fantastic character development she began in book one, and continually antes up the stakes and tension with expert pacing until this book reaches its stunning conclusion. The Kingdom of Copper is the best kind of second novel: it perfectly sets up book three while being absolutely satisfying in its own right.
If you’d haven’t read The City of Brass, go do it right now! And if you have, you’re in for a *treat.* The Kingdom of Copper is due out January 22, 2019!
