This holiday romance made me so happy and giddy. It wasn't perfect, there were a lot of unoriginal tropes and some cringy moments and things that didn't make sense necessarily, but damn, it was so cute and fun that I don't care about all the flaws. I could see this as a Hallmark movie without a doubt.
I did appreciate the representation of a diabetic character as well as a neurodivergent character but since I am neither of those things, I can't say whether the representation is good. However, this is #OwnVoices story, the author is autistic herself, so I will assume that representation is handled well, and for diabetes, I've seen some reviews by diabetic readers and apparently that was handled well too.
