Kilian Jornet is probably one of, if not the greatest athletes of all time, with a legendary track record of winning some of the hardest races in the world, and almost effortlessly climbing the tallest mountains in the world unaided and in record times. All of this should have supplied endless epic material for a killer book, but sadly Kilian does not have the same skills in story telling or writing, and it shows in this book. A not insignificant part is also spent railing against the modern world and his disdain for fame and recognition. So while there are many interesting anecdotes, it was not what I had hoped it would've been.
