Burned by Ivy Jackson
4.0
Ivy Jackson has delivered an unforgettable debut, and I enjoyed each and every second of it. I hadn't flicked through a cowboy romance in a long time, and I had entirely forgotten what I was missing! Particularly when they are a dirty-talking, grumpy cowboy, just like Rhett. I particularly liked Rhett and Poppy's relationship, and their steamy scenes were just wonderful. Plus, not only Rhett's relationship with his children but also Poppy's, was wholeheartedly enjoyable to follow along with. I strongly encourage you to read this one. I read it in one sitting, but wish I had spread it out so I would have savoured it more.
“Oh, how cliché,” I tease. “A cowboy who likes to play with rope.” “Poppy,” he says, a wicked smile playing across his lips. “Shut up and put your hands on the headboard.”
