A Princess of Mars
by Edgar Rice Burroughs
2 ⭐
While this story was one that inspired many sci-fi authors, it was not my cup of tea. The language was overly descriptive and drawn out. The timeline was confusing, only near the end of the book was it described as to how much time has passed. The speed with which John Carter learns the language and customs of the Martians didn't make sense. The plot seemed far too rushed with too many fights in such a short book.
