While I can appreciate a winding romance as much as the next person, there was a lot of back and forth between these three and it got a bit repetitive/frustrating as the book went further along. Not bad by any means, but definitely my least favorite of the three. Tbh I could have done without Vaughn for a deeper exploration of Shaw’s history and how that lenses itself to developing intimacy with Brook.
