I'm sorry I couldn't. I feel disappointed when I read great reviews for a well loved book and don't feel the same. However, I was literally rolling my eyes during most of it, especially that first love scene.

I dnf-ed it halfway and I have no regrets.
I am learning that historical romance may not be my genre...
