I wanted to like this more! I found parts of it to be very sweet, funny, and thoughtful. But other parts felt pretty slow and repetitive. By the time it was over, I didn't really feel connected to the story or the characters much. I did appreciate the relationship between the protagonist and her mother - those were some of the scenes that stood out to me the most! I know that this book really works for some people, so it may have just not been for me. I didn't dislike it, but it was tough for me to finish.
