The cover to this book is amazing and it is what had drawn me in. It is a mix of spooky and mesmerizing all at the same time.

The book itself consumed my thoughts. There is a mixture of different genres between a little romance and a psychological thriller. The main character was written perfectly and you felt her confusion and anguish when trying to piece it all together of what had happened to her. I also felt her frustration as much as she did with her mother.

There are several different love interests and every time I turned a page, I felt like there was a new one on the horizon. I was very happy with the choice that was made and felt early on that this was the guy for Jane. One turned out to be crazy and the other one seemed controlling, demanding and selfish.

By the time the book was ending and all was revealed, I had my “aha” moment when I asked myself why I hadn’t pieced that all together. I enjoyed reading this book a lot. Sometimes it is good to give the paranormal genre a rest:)

“Oh well, it’s over for you. Call the code at 2:03 p.m.”

My eyes widened in shock. “That’s what they say when someone dies.”

“Exactly.” He nodded. “Woman have fallen in love with me after staring like that for only thirty seconds and
I think you just took a full minute. You’re doomed.”
