Defying Infiniti by Rachel Hetrick
4.0

The second installation! Yes! This was a gripping read considering the revelations from the first book. I wholly embraced this new world and the people in it (Armanii is still and will always be my darling elf argue with the wall).

Compared to the first one, this made me feel a lot of emotions. Annoyance with Ellayne's treatment towards Armanii, speechless with ANOTHER revelation, and dislike towards Butch for his views. But as the plot continues, it made me realize that people see what they want to see or what others made them see. If you were groomed to look at things that are not in the norm as bad, you will grow seeing it as it is, unless, someone or something changes your views.

I loved how this book portrays magic as a neutral force; that dark magic doesn't mean evil and light magic doesn't mean good. Its always a matter of choice for the person yielding it.

Just like life, it is up to you how you would see things and how you would react to certain circumstances. Always remember that every action has a consequence and you must think not just once, nor twice, but as many times as you can if your action is worth whatever the effect would be.

PLEASE, LET ME DEVOUR THE LAST INSTALLMENT
