I loved the addition of Clear Sky's POV it was certainly enlightening. His actions and ideas keep the books interesting and challenge the others to react.
Wind Runner might be one of my new favourite characters, she is strong and opinionated and works well with others while seeming like she also is superior to them to some degree. I believe her story arc is gonna be great.
I loved the view into Thunder's conflicting feelings towards his father and his life; you can clearly see he is struggling.
I cannot believe that Tom did actually try to steal his kits back?! And Clear Sky didn't stop him, the idiot...
Turtle Tail's death was heartbreaking. She is not one of my favourites but I gotta say that her death happening off-screen and with no one to witness made me tear up. I was hoping her and Gray Wing would have kits together. Now I hope that Gray Wing will find someone else. On the topic, I am glad that he finally is realizing he is not made to be a leader. He needs that kind of backbone to find his own destiny.
