Queen of Air and Darkness
by Cassandra Clare
This book was my least favorite from the whole Shadowhunters universe, although it contained my favorite characters. The narrative was too focused on details such as how one looks and less focused on more important parts of the story. The Blackthorn family's members became solo fighters, each fighting their own demon instead of solving their problems together. I did not like the love-triangle that Mark, Kieran and Christina were put in, it was awkward and strange even for the other characters in the story. Although many things I did not like, I liked Julian and Emma's curse resolution, which was quite a drastic and fascinating one, and the wedding of Alec and Magnus, also the proposal of Clary in the bonus story.
All in all, it was a good closing book to the series, although it lacked several things that I have taken for granted in Cassandra Clare's books.
