This was the first book I chose to read in 2025 when I made a New Years Resolution to try to read more and it was a great choice! I love murder mysteries and this was always at the top of lists when I looked up the best ones! It was a page turner and the twist was no immediately obvious which we love when that happens! The only reason it didn't receive a five star from me was because the climax did get a little bit confusing and a side plot, although emotionally impactful, felt like it was only there to be a red herring and ultimately had little purpose otherwise.
