I devoured these books. I read all of them in a span of a week. The story was interesting and kept me guessing. I'm sad the author kills off so many characters, especially Harshaw, it just felt unnecessary. I thought he was a really funny side character. I enjoyed all the character's growth and the bonding. I loved that Mal and Alina finally get to be happy together. Still, I screamed at Mal's death and almost cried happy tears at his revival. This book left me emotionally fatigued because I cared about all of the characters. I look forward to reading more of Bardugo's books.
