Sweet. Quiet. Calming. There is always a sweet, affable dog.
These are why I listen to Nora Roberts at bedtime. They hearken me back to safe things and even when parts of the book may not fit these characteristics the whole does. They aren’t meant for bedtime stories but it works for me.
