Opposed Desires by Katherine McIntyre

5.0

Katherine McIntyre has done it again! Opposed Desires features Aubrey, Sky's best friend from Confined Desires and second member of the Rehoboth Pact. Finally free from quarantine, the friends take their annual trip to Rehoboth Beach, and who should be staying next to them but intensely beautiful and not-here-for-Aubrey's-shenanigans Selina, the bartender at Aubs' favorite place to find one night stands. Aubrey is a player, but she's also wounded and as the vacation continues, she and Selina somehow grow closer despite Selina's misgivings.

I loved this book so freaking much. Selina's hesitancy added to the shared belief that Aubrey is incapable of more than a fling creates delicious tension, and I couldn't stop reading to find out how that tension is resolved into a happily ever after. Somehow, Selina tames the hookup queen (and Selina is super hot so I can't blame Aubrey at all). Definitely recommend!
