I really liked the first 75% of this book, but I felt like the ending was really rushed and unsatisfying. Malek captures Riley, Sloane's little sister, because he is seeking revenge for the death of his brother. He blames Sloane's partner, Declan, for his brother's death. Malek starts falling for Riley, but he knows that they do not have a chance to be together long-term. Malek reminded me of John Wick because he is supposed to be some sort of untouchable Boogeyman for the other members of the Mafia.

Content: graphic sex scenes, some violence, some icky not consensual kissing scenes
