This book was such a nice little read. It's a collection of short stories based in Macau and told from different perspectives.

I was drawn in from the very beginning. The stories teach you about the hardships of life and overall the book is quite moving.

I also liked how some of the stories are linked to each other and we get to see more of the characters.

My favourite story was "And All Will Be Well". It reminds me of the German tale of Lorelei but in a more positive Macau setting.
