I don't think I've ever read a book that got it's hooks in me so bad! It instantly grabbed me with it's intricate plot, fleshed out characters, and just the palpable dread in the atmosphere. The twist that the mushrooms keep the family alive is something I was hoping so desperately would happen, that when the veil was lifted I practically screamed! I'm recommending this to all my friends from here on out!
