um. ok. I read this book in high school. I remembered only the gist of it. Girl gets pregnant out of wedlock (well technically she cheated on her husband, I forgot that part), town punishes her for it, she had to wear the red A. yup. I listened to the book this time. N.H. is very verbose. geez Louis.
some interesting points I long ago forgot. but this review is here to remind me not to read it again.
