Beautiful Country by Qian Julie Wang

4.0

Very much enjoyed this read. It was beautiful and hopeful, though many times painful as well. It reflects the ongoing struggles of many Asians and immigrants all over the world. So deeply admire Qian and her family's resilience and their steadfast loyalty to one another.

This book very much reminds me of my favorite book in high school, Colours of the Mountain by Da Chen.
