Appointment with Death
by Agatha Christie
For me, Poirot books are fast paced entertainment. This book despite its lesser page count felt dull.
WHAT I LIKED :
The main plot scenario is quite interesting , as the victim is pretty much a very dislikable person. The book masterfully revolves around each and every character giving the reader ample time to ensure they form a bond with said characters .
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
The ending felt unnecessarily prolonged, the book could easily have called 'the end' 3-4 chapters early . The final reveal also felt unsatisfactory and felt like came out of the blue.
CONCLUSION:
It hasnt happened a lot of times , but this here is one of the few times the Poirot mystery felt dull for me .
