I just finished reading bookstacentral’s November Indie Author Book Club pick, The Write Place by Allie Samberts! If you’re a fan of books about books, teaching, writing, bffs, and of course, romance, please go ahead and add The Write Place to your tbr!
Can I just say that I loved the strong, positive female friendship featured in The Write Place? Seriously, Jenny and Mac’s friendship is #squadgoals. These ladies are so supportive of each other, which is refreshing to read about when so many books pit female characters against one another. I absolutely cannot wait to read Jenny’s story in the next installment!
Now, let’s talk about Daniel Evans 😍! A hot guy that writes award winning books?!?! Say no more because I’m SOLD! 🤣. I absolutely adored their meet cute and the electric spark between him and Mac (the FMC) was on point. Daniel also had a ton of character growth on the page, was so satisfying to read.
Last, but certainly not least, is the charming English teacher, Mac. Mac is one of those inspirational teachers that everyone (even the reader), can’t help but adore. It was such a joy to read about the positive changes she was making in the lives of her students. The slow burn romance between her and Daniel wasn’t bad either. 😉🔥
In the Pages, you will find:
📖A talented English teacher
👨💻A famous writer
☕️He knows her coffee order
🪢Forced proximity
🛌One bed
🏫A workplace romance
💔Grief representation
📖First book in an interconnected standalone series.
❤️A sweet romance you won’t be able to put down!
