This book was a fitting conclusion to this series. I think the only thing taking stars off for me was that it kind of felt like the main characters' issues were sort of dragged out to make the book longer... like the expected 3rd act breakup/fight didn't really feel totally necessary to the story. I think there was enough internal angst for them to not need the big fight right before the end, and the fight wasn't even that bad or big of a deal for either of them so. It didn't add a lot besides the extra like, 20 pages.
I'm not a huge fan either of when characters decide to engage in a friends-with-benefits situation. I'd take enemies to lovers or mutual but separated pining over we-meant-to-be-casual-but-oops-I-caught-feelings. But if that's for you, then this book is perfect!
