This book was extremely enjoyable. Ray Bradbury had shaped my ideas about what was frightening as a young child with the movies Something Wicked This Way Comes and The Halloween Tree. Reading this story in its undiluted original version only reinforces the ideas of beautiful horror. The very ideas and story line that is involved in Something Wicked This Way Comes is very intense and shocking, while the description of what is happening remains very poetic. I simply could not put this book down. I read the whole thing in 3 days, which is a huge feat considering I am both employed and a college student. I highly recommend this book.
