My first Freida McFadden book and I am pleasantly surprised.
Never Lie seems to be the subject of some controversy. Readers either really like it or find it to be flat and unimaginative. Therefore I was a little sceptical as to whether I would like it.
Turns out I do.
I did not see the plot twist coming. I suspectedEthan to be a villain of some sort the whole time and am quite pleased with myself to have been right. (Although McFadden wrote it in a way so that people would suspect Ethan to be a bad guy, so probably not that big of a leap.)
All in all I enjoyed this book and will definitely pick up another one. It didn't blow my mind, but it's a solid read and I'm a glad I read it.
