Hamilton: The Revolution by Jeremy McCarter, Lin-Manuel Miranda

I was worried that I'd spent enough time absorbing interviews and Twitter and Tumblr that this would be just a rehash, but it was really meaty - more like a Sunday Times Magazine treatment of the subject, but at a ~300 page level. It does a fantastic job of tying together the story of how the thing came to be, a window into what it's like to be a part of it, and how the creators of the show see it themselves (so meta). And visually it's just gorgeous.
