Opposite Ends of the Sea by Daniela A. Mera, Elayna R. Gallea
Did not finish book.
1.0
This concept for this book is amazing and I honestly believe lots of people will love this! However, I have found it’s not for me. I may go back and read again at a later date and maybe my personal opinion will change.
The characters were wonderfully created with intriguing backstories. The plot was well thought out - if not a little dragged out. Yet somehow the book also felt a bit rushed. Some sections were longer than necessary, others short and fast.
I wasn’t pulled to keep reading or wanting to pick it up again as soon as I could to finish it. Rather, at times I didn’t want to pick it up again. The pull and excitement just wasn’t there for me.
In my personal opinion it was just okay. As I DNFed the book I am giving it 1 star.
This book, however, is one I believe many who enjoy fantasy, fae, and Romeo and Juliet retellings, will immensely enjoy. It just wasn’t for me personally.
