This was a really clever book that held my attention throughout. I didn’t think I would love the style of a book written in letters, but it worked surprisingly well. What I expected to be a light read though was decidedly not. The commentary on authoritarian governments is not to be understated from the book’s synopsis. Still, it was light enough that it didn’t leave me feeling broken after reading, so I think it walked a nice line. Would highly recommend for fans of the silliness of the English language, and people who enjoy little clever stories.
