Did not finish book. Stopped at 18%.
I’m too hung up on some weird lines, repetitive dialogue, etc, it just feels messy. For example there’s a SA scene where the phrase “in a nick of time” is used. That phrase is for something being done not a moment too soon. Her husband assaults her just in time? What? I tried to get over it but I can’t.
