So that was a weird book.
I don't really know what to say about the plot. Aside from the words "Auntie Pipple" being extremely over used, the writing was decent. I just don't know what to say about the story lmao
It was weird, the choices the twins made were strange, the outcome of the story was strange. Auntie Pipple being on board with it all was even stranger. It reminded me of Courage the Cowardly Dog.
I wanted more information on lore of the monsters. It would have been cool to see the twins interact with the local town, and hear their horror stories of the forest, etc. With them staying in their small bubble it left a lot to be desired as far as making me emotionally invested in the characters.
If you enjoy strange monster tales that aren't scary, but are dark, you'll love this book.
