.
I’m a lover of the epistolary form so this was an immediate win for me .
.
The protagonist Katharine (with an A) Wright - the forgotten Wright - came to life and her character was obviously at the heart of this book. My curiousty was ignited to know more about her and her life and I ended up spending hours reading and researching .
.
On the other hand , I did find her constant pleadings frustrating and somewhat repetitive especially towards the end .
.
Perhaps that’s why I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️
.
Overall it’s a short book that packs a good dose of history (and affection)and will read like a breeze .If this sounds fun to you, make sure to grab your copy!
