Ava in Code Land by Gavin Cullen, Jess Hitchman
4.0

Okay. So. I was super skeptical of this book when I saw it on the shelf. Does not matter that I saw it and intentionall wondered "will it work for my Early Learning Skills program". Coding is daunting and most books about it are, frankly, boring.

Ava in Code Land took me back to a land similar to Wreck it Ralph--complete with adorable illustrations. And I could actually understand Javascript when this book posed it to me. So yay!

The only reason I did not rate this book higher is due to the numbers in the top left corner of the pages. For the life of me, I could never figure out what it was.
