I still do not know what I read. Is it historical fiction? is it magical realism? is it folklore fiction? The book is so ambiguous and broad in all its themes that is so hard to decipher what the Author intended for this book to be. The characters are unlikeable with a lack of chemistry. The mystery and suspense is always described as heart wrenching but nothing ever happens and when things get cleared at the end is even more disheartening and dull. Not worth your time.
