Tiffany D. Jackson’s books never fail to leave me speechless at the end. All that is going through my head as I try to type out this review is “Oh. Wow.”

Tiffany does an amazing job of taking hard hitting topics such as juvenile detention centers, group homes, foster homes, teen pregnancy, mental illness and other social justice issues (just to name a few in this book) and she weaves it into a story that is not only deep and compelling but has twists and turns with every chapter that you just don’t see coming. And specifically with Allegedly, she does an amazing job with the unreliable narrator which is not my favorite character trope/POV in books. The way she weaves the plot with what we’re learning and seeing through the main character’s (flawed) eyes and choices that they make, never fails to amaze me and I’m so sad to have finished all of the books she has written as of now (that I currently know of).
