SCREAMING. CRYING. THROWING UP!! I genuinely have no words to describe how phenomenal this was. And that ending, holy crap! I need the second one as soon as possible! I NEED AN ANSWER! This is without a doubt my favourite book that I've read this year, if not ever. I mean it definitely had me signing up at; an academy, with dragons, magic, hot alphaholes, and Hunger Games vibes. I wasn't sure if this one was going to live up to the hype, but it thoroughly surpassed the expectations that I had. It was simply outstanding. I cannot imagine that any fantasy will ever surpass it from now on. I honestly don't know what to write in the review; my brain feels like it's in a blender because it was just so amazing. Violet has become one of my favourite heroines mainly because she is just so intelligent. Her character development from the beginning to the finish of the novel proved to be marvellous. I’m so used to whiney female mc in fantasy and Violet was just a breath of fresh air. Don't even get me started on Xaden. Because he was utterly flawless, he easily took the top spot for fantasy book boyfriend. Their exploding relationship was an immense amount of fun to read and a fantastic portrayal of the enemies-to-lovers cliche. I enjoyed the bond that existed between the five of them, and Andarna was just so adorable! If I were able to forget this book and reread it a thousand times, I would. Definitely get your hands on this book and read it!
