4.5/5⭐️ So So SO much better than the first book. I wasn’t expecting to actually enjoy this book or be so invested. This was one of the first books i’ve read all in one day. Such fast paced and addictive writing. I’m surprising myself by saying this got this high a rating because of the plot and not at all due to the romance. Because actually I couldn’t STAND Patch and all the back and forth. The shit he put Nora through, MY GOD. She’s stronger than me because I honestly would’ve thrown hands to everyone and just had constant mental breakdowns.
One thing I can’t stand about this book is that you have a curvy character that’s established as say pretty and has a love life. But is constantly being made fun of and never stands up for herself. And her character only talks about food or losing weight or some thing about weight. It’s so weird and so annoying and tiring to see representation but it’s not real representation when the character is such a stereotypical characters. And the way her best friend, her BEST FRIEND thought about her?! Disgusting, Ridiculous. Even if I didn’t like her in the first book I still don’t think it’s right.
There was a huge plot twist here at the end, which was crazy honestly really well done cause it was not expected at all. Also i’m still so mad at Patch, he’s gonna have to do something big cause I really hate him and Nora deserves so much better.
