first of all…  evangeline losing her memories pissed me off. jacks being gone for most of the book pissed me off. jacks making bad decisions that we find out about later pissed me off (you would think he would be more of a critical thinker since he is like 300 years older than his 17 year old girlfriend).  “we can’t be together evangeline…” over and over pissed me off. the five (5) pages of them being together AFTER I READ 1200 PAGES pissed me off. overall frustrating reading experience for me
