I listened to this book in an audiobook form and honestly I advice anyone to do the same. The audiobook was amazing just like a movie with the proper sound effects instead of just reading them. For example u hear the sound of the door closing and the water being poured instead of sentences being read. It is an really emersive story.
Technically, I would have given it 3.5 stars because it's not a bad story just something that didn't amazes me. The story is well written, the characters are all amazing even the bad ones. The author makes repulsed when he wants to and makes love a character when he wants you. Dolores and Vera are the two characters who got most light shed on them and you understand their duality. While ppl preceives them as bitches, u get to see that they cn be wholesome too and they have their reasons why they cn be hard on the outside. But overall, it's a story that I heard but won't think of reading again and that's why it deserves 3.5 stars.
Now, I took that 0.5 for personal reasons 🤣🤣🤣. This is my first time trying Stephen King and I went into it blind. I wanted horror and supernatural but I had to fucking pick the book that is neither 🥲. So really it is my fault but couldn't help the feeling of disappointed.
Overall, it is a good book but I wouldn't say its horror. The best way to enjoy this book in particular is in the firm of Audiobook.
